What a beautiful way to celebrate ourselves in the season of new beginnings - Spring . Here’s how we gathered together and connected on the everlasting journey of growing with our bodies. We’re all blooming this year . The mission behind the Love Your Yoni Workshop was to gather with my uterus bearing community and reform the miseducation and shame that is centered around our reproductive and menstrual health . We all agreed that the conversations about our vulvas and it’s health didn’t really go any further pass that cringing 5th grade mixed-sex sex-ed class - actually most of us didn’t even have an educational talk about periods with a parent or guardian, we all kinda just figured it out as we began to grow with our uteruses . For most of our early moments in life we basically just let our periods happen to us but now we’re here in this space to introduce comfort with freedom through open conversations surrounding pussy talk.
Maintaining a healthy ph free of bacteria
Just as in other areas of care for your vulva, maintaining your ph is done internally and externally. So filling your lifestyle with foods, drinks, and moments of care that keep your flower happy is key. Most people take daily supplements for probiotics but if you’re not that great about staying with the routine of vitamins in the morning try out drinks like kombucha- a fermented sparkling drink full of probiotics. There are also tons of foods that can be added to your meals daily to aid in a juicy peach, like sweet potatoes, garlic, oranges, spinach, yogurt or non dairy cultures, flax seeds, and so much more. The Honey Pot companys’ sensitive foaming wash is a go-to grab for me when rinsing the outer surfaces
of my pubic region as it aids in a feeling of being more refreshed. The plant based wash is great for the area with ingredients like garlic and lavender that naturally maintain a healthy ph.
